But I\u2019ve always gone by \u201c<i>it\u2019s not tomorrow until you wake up<\/i>\u201d rules, so I still think of January the 10th as the real launch day &lt;3<\/p>\n<p>Gosh, ten years.<\/p>\n<p>VVVVVV is such an important game to me, I barely even know where to start. I wanted to do something special to mark the occasion: so, as of today, I\u2019m releasing the game\u2019s source code!<\/p>\n<p>The repo contains two versions \u2013 the desktop version, <a href=\"http:\/\/distractionware.com\/blog\/2011\/07\/vvvvvv-version-2-0-launches-in-the-new-humble-indie-bundle\/\">ported to C++ by Simon Roth in 2011<\/a>, and later <a href=\"http:\/\/distractionware.com\/blog\/2014\/03\/wanted-coder-for-vvvvvv-maintenance\/\">updated and maintained by Ethan Lee<\/a> \u2013 and the mobile version, written in Actionscript for Adobe AIR, based on the original v1.0 flash version of the game.<\/p>\n<p>I wanna give a big big thank you to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flibitijibibo.com\/\">Ethan Lee<\/a>, who helped a lot to prepare for this, including getting the repo ready for the public, and organising the reveal on AGDQ (hi speedrunners!)!
