As we get closer to the end of another decade, NPD video game industry analyst Mat Piscatella has been sharing interesting data about software and hardware trends. His latest tweet highlights the top five games that made “the most” appearances on the NPD Group’s top 20 best-selling video games chart within the US over the past decade.<\/p>\n

As you might have already guessed, Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto V<\/strong> takes out the top spot, with a total of 74 appearances. Coming in at second place is Mojang’s Minecraft<\/a><\/strong> game with 73 appearances. After this is Mario Kart 8<\/a><\/strong> with 37 appearances, followed by the new Rainbow Six<\/strong> game with 34 appearances. And in fifth place is Nintendo’s massive open-world adventure, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
