They have wanted to expand <em>Warframe<\/em>\u2019s gameplay into real-time, ship-to-ship space combat. <\/p>\n<p>With<br \/>\nthat first <em>Railjack<\/em> demo shown at TennoCon one-and-a-half years ago,<br \/>\nthey turned a wild, nearly impossible dream they once had with our original<br \/>\nthird-person action-adventure, <em>Dark Sector,<\/em> into a reality. <em>Empyrean<\/em>,<br \/>\navailable now on Xbox One, is just that. <em>Warframe<\/em> players now have the<br \/>\nkeys to a powerful battleship and dares them to fly into fast-paced, all-out<br \/>\nbattleship combat.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/news.xbox.com\/en-us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/12\/WF_Empyrean_Railjack_Ship_1.jpg?w=940\" alt=\"Warframe\" class=\"wp-image-130751\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Starting<br \/>\nwith three gorgeous new space environments, Earth, Saturn, and Veil Proxima, <em>Warframe<\/em><br \/>\nplayers must build a Dry Dock and the Railjack battleship, rally together their<br \/>\nclan, and launch into the wild unknown of deep space. In these all new<br \/>\ntilesets, Tenno (players\u2019 names in game) will crash head-on into hostile<br \/>\nGrineer forces in next-level, team-oriented cooperative play.<\/p>\n<p>This<br \/>\nfirst stage of <em>Empyrean<\/em> is designed as a real, honest-to-goodness<br \/>\ncooperative experience. Solo players will still<br \/>\nbe able to enjoy <em>Empyrean<\/em>, but the difficulty and progression is<br \/>\nbalanced around two-, three-, and four-player crews. Come 2020, we\u2019ll bring<br \/>\nenhanced solo capabilities and even more surprises!<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/news.xbox.com\/en-us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/12\/WF_Empyrean_Enemies_2.jpg?w=940\" alt=\"Warframe\" class=\"wp-image-130750\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Starting<br \/>\ntoday, <em>Empyrean<\/em> will be an intense rush for both new and veteran Xbox<br \/>\nOne players. By shooting waves of opponent Fighters and Crewships from the<br \/>\npilot seat or gunner positions, we hope to capture some of those early<br \/>\nMillenium Falcon moments from \u201cStar Wars: A New Hope.\u201d You might just<br \/>\nreflexively yell to your teammates, \u201cDon\u2019t get cocky kid!\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Blasting like a bullet from the Archwing Cannon into enemy vessels to commandeer or destroy their ships might feel a touch like our version of those powerful action scenes from \u201cCaptain Marvel.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/news.xbox.com\/en-us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/12\/WF_Empyrean_Saturn_Spacescape_3.jpg?w=940\" alt=\"Warframe\" class=\"wp-image-130749\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Before and during each fight, players will experience <em>Empyrean<\/em>\u2019s new on-board ship systems. Starting with simple Railjack aesthetics like giving your ship a name, selecting colors or skins, and moving on to constructing weapons, armor and actual ship powers, players will uncover deep, rich systems designed to fulfill their space ninja \u2014 and now, space pirate \u2014 power fantasies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>All<br \/>\nof this, while working together to take down enemy ships, putting out fires,<br \/>\nwelding holes in the hull, boarding enemy craft, being boarded by enemy craft,<br \/>\nand more, create a unique urgency and gameplay tension totally new to <em>Warframe<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Over the holidays with family and friends around, there is nothing quite like a great cooperative experience, so we think you\u2019re going to love <em>Empyrean<\/em>.
