If you asked someone to name one of the most popular mobile games of the past decade, there’s a good chance they might mention Niantic’s augmented reality title, Pok\u00e9mon GO<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The game was first released in 2016 and as of October this year, surpassed $3 billion in lifetime gross revenue and has been downloaded more than 541 million times. Now, in its latest milestone, it’s been listed as one of the top-grossing games of 2019 and the decade by the mobile data and analytics firm, App Annie<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In terms of the revenue GO made in 2019, it was sixth on the list, right underneath Lineage M<\/strong>, while Fate \/ Grand Order<\/strong> took out the top spot. Supercell’s 2012 title Clash of Clans<\/strong> placed first in terms of revenue earnings of the decade, and GO was eighth on this list.<\/p>\n
