This was the director&#8217;s reply:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>HAH, that&#8217;s news to me and would certainly be scary considering we&#8217;re still working on the last episode of the season.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<hr>\n<p><strong>Original Story Wed 27th Nov, 2019 01:05 GMT:<\/strong> Last November, Netflix <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2018\/11\/netflix_renews_castlevania_animated_series_for_a_third_season\">confirmed<\/a> Trevor Belmont would return in the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nes\/castlevania\">Castlevania<\/a><\/strong> animated series.The third season will reportedly be comprised of ten episodes \u2013 making it the biggest run yet based on Konami&#8217;s classic video game series.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the official <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/@NetflixNordic\">Netflix Nordic Twitter account<\/a> has seemingly revealed the third season will be arriving on 1st December. In saying this, the tweet has since been deleted \u2013 meaning there are no longer any guarantees the new episodes <em>will<\/em> actually be released on this date.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"object object-tweet\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\"><p><span lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Update: Netflix Nordic has now removed the tweet that mentions Castlevania season 3, which means we all probably gotta go back inside our inverted castles and embrace patience once again\ud83d\ude14<\/span>\u2014 Nibel (@Nibellion) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Nibellion\/status\/1199395808493391872?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 26, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Fingers crossed Netflix Nordic simply revealed this information ahead of schedule and that the new episodes will still air on 1st December.
