Epic Games has just announced that Fortnite’s<\/a><\/strong> Fishing Frenzy Contest starts today.<\/p>\n

During the contest, you’ll be able to win special items and the focus \u2013 as you might have guessed \u2013 revolves around Fortnite’s recently-introduced fishing mechanic.<\/p>\n

Here’s some more information:<\/p>\n

Things are about to get reel!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Triggerfish surfaces to present the first Fortnite Fishing Frenzy Contest. Beginning Friday, start casting your Fishing Rods for an opportunity to win a Bottom Dweller pickaxe or your very own real-life Llama Trophy!<\/p>\n

Grab Triggerfish from the Item Shop on Friday, November 22 at 7 PM ET and send your enemies to sleep with the fishes.

COMPETITION TIMES, PRIZES & CATEGORIES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Open a can of worms on the casting competition beginning at 8am ET on Friday, November 22 until 8pm ET on Sunday, November 24.<\/p>\n

Each server region (NAE and NAW are combined) will have one winner in each category listed<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Top Angler
<\/strong> Catch the most fish in a single match during the competition
One champion per regional server
Awarded an engraved Llama Trophy<\/p>\n

Small Fry Champion
<\/strong>Catch the most Small Fry during the competition
One champion per regional server
Awarded an engraved Llama Trophy<\/p>\n

Flopper Champion
<\/strong>Catch the most Floppers during the competition
One champion per regional server
Awarded an engraved Llama Trophy<\/p>\n

Slurpfish Champion
<\/strong>Catch the most Slurpfish during the competition
One champion per regional server
Awarded an engraved Llama Trophy<\/p>\n

Mythic Goldfish = Instant Prize
<\/strong>Anyone that catches the Mythic Goldfish will receive a Bottom Dweller Pickaxe!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
