Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Shield<\/a><\/strong>, the latest in the mainline Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong><\/a> series and our introduction to a entirely new generation of Pocket Monsters, is finally here. Gen 8 features a totally new roster of Pok\u00e9mon and we’ve collected the full list of Gen 8 Pok\u00e9mon below for your viewing pleasure, including all the returning Pocket Monsters – that’s 400 in total!<\/p>\n

Our sparkling new database<\/em> features the entire Galar Pok\u00e9dex, including the 81 brand-spanking new ‘mons. Along with the new Pok\u00e9mon in Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Shield, there’s obviously a hefty number of past Pok\u00e9mon returning to the Galar Pok\u00e9dex, too, as well as regional versions like Galarian Ponyta<\/a>.<\/p>\n

You can use the tool below to search for the Pok\u00e9mon you want and find out which of your past favourites have made the cut in the Galar Pok\u00e9dex. For example, if you only want to see the new Gen 8 Pok\u00e9mon that feature in Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Shield, type ‘generation:8<\/a>‘ into the bar and search. If you’re wondering about version-exclusive Pok\u00e9mon, simply type in ‘exclusivity:sword<\/a>‘, hit ‘Return’ and voila!<\/em> Anyone care to guess how you’d do the same for Pok\u00e9mon Shield?<\/p>\n
