In celebration of the game\u2019s continued <a href=\"https:\/\/news.xbox.com\/en-us\/2019\/09\/28\/minecon-live-2019\/\">early access<\/a><br \/>\nrollout, we unveiled \u201cMobs at the Park\u201d at X019 \u2013 the one-of-a-kind, life-sized<br \/>\nstatues of interactive mobs popping up in New York City, London and Sydney<br \/>\nstarting on <strong>Saturday, November 16<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The statues are life-sized creations of the Muddy Pig, Moobloom and the<br \/>\nall-new, amazingly-festive Jolly Llama which will feature a scannable QR code<br \/>\nto play an exclusive new adventure built by the <em>Minecraft Earth<\/em><br \/>\ndevelopment team. Once players complete the adventure, they\u2019ll receive<br \/>\nexclusive access to the Jolly Llama in-game before it\u2019s globally available in<br \/>\nDecember.<\/p>\n<p>The custom-built experience demonstrates the magic of bringing<br \/>\nMinecraft into the real world through the power of Microsoft Azure Spatial Anchors<br \/>\nand Azure PlayFab technologies, all coming together to create one of the<br \/>\nworld\u2019s first true augmented reality experiences.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/news.xbox.com\/en-us\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/11\/JollyLlama.png?w=249&amp;resize=168%2C353\" alt class=\"wp-image-128512\" width=\"168\" height=\"353\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>We encourage everyone \u2013 families, friends, Minecraft super-players,<br \/>\nfirst-timers \u2013 to come down and experience the game hands-on while the pop-ups<br \/>\nare live in three locations around the world \u2013 Hudson Yards in <strong>New York City<\/strong>,<br \/>\nthe Queens Walk in <strong>London<\/strong> and Campbell\u2019s Cove in <strong>Sydney <\/strong>\u2013 during<br \/>\nthe weekends of November 16-17, November 23-24 and November 30-December 1.<br \/>\nThere will also be a special appearance of the statues at Hudson Yards in New<br \/>\nYork City on Black Friday, November 29.
