Think of all the big games that have come to the Switch so far \u2013 there’s Rocket League<\/a><\/strong>, Fortnite<\/a><\/strong> and more recently we even got Overwatch<\/a><\/strong>. One game, though, that’s not made the transition across to Nintendo’s hybrid device yet is the original<\/em> battle royale game, Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds<\/strong> (commonly abbreviated as PUBG).<\/p>\n

As there’s no sign of this game appearing on the Switch anytime soon, the Chinese developer NetEase has now stepped in to release its own free-to-play battle royale title, Knives Out<\/strong>. It’s actually a mobile port and features microtransactions. If you have access to a Japanese Switch eShop account, you can download it right now.<\/p>\n

Knives Out is essentially the same as PUBG \u2013 requiring you and your team fight to be the last ones standing in a 100 player battlezone. In order to win, you’ll have to find weapons, ammo and gear, while driving vehicles and making sure you stay within the safe zone.<\/p>\n
