While the much-disliked AtGames has plopped out wonky Genesis \/ Mega Drive clones for years now, this new venture promised to be something different \u2013 and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2019\/09\/hardware_review_the_genesis_mega_drive_mini_finally_does_segas_history_justice\">it&#8217;s finally time for the real deal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This time around, the software side of things has been handled by M2, the same company that worked on the Sega Ages and Sega 3D Classics series, so you know you&#8217;re in safe hands. On top of that, legendary composer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2019\/04\/yuzo_koshiro_confirms_hers_involved_with_segars_forthcoming_mega_drive_mini\">Yuzo Koshiro has made the menu music<\/a> for the console. Some top talent, then.<\/p>\n<p>With Sega overseeing this effort, the Genesis \/ Mega Drive Mini has avoided repeating the mistakes of previous licensed attempts.
