While the company previously stated this particular entry was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2017\/01\/gearbox_ceo_doesnt_see_borderlands_3_coming_to_nintendo_switch\">unlikely<\/a> to come to the Switch, that doesn&#8217;t rule out the series completely.<\/p>\n<p>According to the creative director Paul Sage, there&#8217;s still a chance of <em>any<\/em> game in the Borderlands series being released on Nintendo&#8217;s hybrid system in the future &#8211; with the Gearbox employee stating &#8220;never say never&#8221; in response to a fan question during the recent Borderlands Show.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year in April, Gearbox&#8217;s CEO Randy Pitchford responded to another fan on Twitter, revealing how he would &#8220;<a href=\"\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2019\/04\/gearboxs_randy_pitchford_would_love_to_see_borderlands_on_switch\">love<\/a>&#8221; the looter shooter to make its way across to the Switch at some stage. There have even been a few <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2019\/03\/did_gearbox_software_just_share_an_image_of_borderlands_2_for_nintendo_switch\">rumours<\/a> about a Switch version of Borderlands, but so far, the only Gearbox FPS the Switch has received is <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/switch-eshop\/bulletstorm_duke_of_switch_edition\">Bulletstorm: Duke of Switch Edition<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Would you like to see Borderlands on the Switch?
