According to <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.videogameschronicle.com\/news\/nintendo-shares-hit-near-16-month-high-ahead-of-switch-lite-release\/\">VGC<\/a>, this is the highest close seen since 1st June 2018, a date just days before that year&#8217;s annual E3 event.<\/p>\n<p>This seems set to rise even further, too; at the time of writing, Nintendo&#8217;s stock has risen as high as \u00a542,840 on Thursday.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"picture strip\">\n<div class=\"img\"><a title=\"Nintendo's stock over the last five days\" href=\"http:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/1b44fc11c4b17\/nintendos-stock-over-the-last-five-days.original.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/static.nintendolife.com\/blank.gif\" data-original=\"http:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/1b44fc11c4b17\/nintendos-stock-over-the-last-five-days.original.png\" alt=\"Nintendo's stock over the last five days\"><\/a><span class=\"image-credit\" title=\"Image Credit\">Google<\/span><\/div><figcaption class=\"caption\">Nintendo&#8217;s stock over the last five days<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As well as the Switch Lite, several big-name releases are also set for release over the coming months. Tomorrow sees the launch of a brand new Zelda title &#8211; the Switch remake of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/legend_of_zelda_links_awakening\"><strong>Zelda: Link&#8217;s Awakening<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; and we have the likes of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/pokemon_sword_and_shield\"><strong>Pok\u00e9mon Sword and Shield<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/games\/nintendo-switch\/animal_crossing_new_horizons\"><strong>Animal Crossing: New Horizons<\/strong><\/a> coming up before the financial year is over, too.
